Force One TC-35 CNC Lathes & Turning Center
Offer Details
Product Description

The TC 35 series of CNC Lathes from Force One are designed with heavy cutting and high efficiency in mind. This single spindle, single turret lathe is built upon a massive one piece Meehanite casting with precision hardened and ground box ways. High precision bearings carry the spindle in the very rigid headstock, and the power from the spindle motor is enhanced for high speed or high torque turning by the German ZF two-stage gear box. Together with the massive hydraulic turret, this makes the TC-35 a formidable workhorse for high accuracy, heavy duty turning operations. With the optional driven tool turret and 'C' axis spindle positioning the machine becomes a versatile turning centre able to perform various milling, drilling, tapping and reaming operations as well as standard turning functions.
Product Features
Machine Bed
This single spindle, single turret lathe is built upon a massive one piece Meehanite casting with precision hardened and ground box ways. All the major machine parts, such as the one piece bed, saddle, headstock, slides and tailstock are made of Meehanite cast iron which have been heat treated to relieve any inherent stress and thus ensure absolute stability and lifetime accuracy.
The bed has a 45 degree slope to bring the turret closer to the operator and to ensure efficient chip removal and solid support during heavy cutting.
Slide Ways
Spindle Configuration
The robust spindle is supported by cylindrical roller bearings and high speed angular thrust bearings and permanently greased for trouble free heavy duty and high speed turning.
If rotation and indexing accuracy is required for executing mill / drill functions the spindle motor is supplied with an optional integral rotary encoder and a disc brake system is installed on the spindle.
Two Stage Gear Box
10 Station Hydraulic Turret
The very large heavy duty turret is driven by a low noise high torque hydraulic indexing motor for trouble free operation and optimum tool life due to its very sturdy construction. High accuracy bi-directional positioning provides both repeatability and efficiency. An optional 12 station turret disk is available if requested, and also a driven tool turret for milling, drilling, tapping and reaming operations.

Spindle 'C' Axis and Driven Tool Turret
This 12 station turret is manufactured by Force One with 6 driven tool stations on an inner pcd, and 6 turning tool stations on an outer pcd. The turret disk is designed for VDI-50 tool holders and 32 x 32 mm turning tools. With this turret the maximum turning diameter is reduced to 440 mm.
To provide accurate rotation and indexing of the spindle a high resolution magnetic pulse coder is incorporated into the main AC spindle motor.
Manual Steady Rest
SMW Automatic Hydraulic Self-Centering Steady
This is a German made hydraulically powered self-centering steady providing simplicity of setup when supporting long workpieces, and optimum durability.
Motorized Steady Positioning
This option enables a steady to be positioned automatically by a simple 'M' function command at the operators panel or in the program.
